In July 2024, Blooming Orchid left the t•Ana Couture studio to begin a new chapter in a private home.
The original artwork was offered through a community giveaway and later photographed with its recipient before being relocated. A second, smaller artwork was also gifted after one response to the project particularly moved us.
What remains important about this moment is not the mechanics of the giveaway, but the passage of an artwork from maker to keeper. Art changes when it enters another person’s space. Its ownership changes, but its place within the history of the Maison remains.
Blooming Orchid is therefore preserved within our archive as an acquired work and part of the evolving artistic record of t•Ana Couture.
